Artificial Intelligence (AI) is directly related to computational tools, which seeks to imitate human intelligence. AI was conceived in reference to different systems created by humans as rational beings that are not alive. This kind of intelligence consists of the design and development of processes that generate a response. These procedures are specifically responsible for simulating human intelligence through machines or systems, and include multiple factors such as learning (collection of information and rules), reasoning (using rules to come to conclusions) and self-correction. The devices with this type of intelligence are capable of executing different analog processes that generate a response and may even have reflections of living beings. The term AI was coined by American computer scientist John McCarthy in 1956. Currently, it is a general term that encompasses the development and robotic processes from its conception to the present day. There are different types of AI, which include:       Human systems of thought: are processes responsible for recreating the behavior of people.       Reactive machines: refers to programs that can make decisions and predictions in different areas such as in a game, but don’t have memory to use past experiences.       Limited memory: shows how AI is capable of making an analysis of past experiences in order to make decisions in the future. This model is seen in autonomous cars.       Automation: the robotic process automation (RPA) allows the execution of repetitive processes for the tasks performed by a person on a daily basis.       Automatic learning: makes a computer act without programming. This type of deep learning is regarded as the automation of predictive analytics. Likewise, it is necessary to know how to apply the different types of AI in different areas:       Business: robotic processes are present in different businesses or companies being applied to repetitive tasks that should be carried out by human beings. Automatic learning algorithms are integrated into analysis platforms to find out the best way to serve customers.       Finance: AI is applied to features like TurboTax or Mint that allow to collect financial information of customers to provide advice.        Manufacturing: this is one of the areas that has integrated the use of robots to improve work flow, as human jobs have been cut in factories due to technological progress.       Healthcare: the companies applying machine learning are able to obtain better and faster diagnoses than human beings. IBM Watson is the most commonly used health technology in these cases as it helps answer questions from forms and generates hypotheses by extracting data and information from other sources. Thus, it is understood that the labor processes have improved thanks to AI, yet it should not be assumed that all “intelligence” models can react in the same way. There are some with slower and clumsy processes since the programming of a physical architecture requires extensive work to achieve exact similarities to those of humans. Moreover, some experts have expressed concern over the excessive use of AI as this may pose a threat to humans in the future.
